Industry Relations

The AAPCO Industry workgroup was established by AAPCO in 2013 to improve communications between industry and SLAs on issues of mutual concern and provide a forum for working on mutually important issues.

Vision:  The purpose of the AAPCO Industry Relations Workgroup was established in 2013 to maintain open communications and a dialogue between the pesticide industry, associations and SLAs on issues of mutual concern. 

Co-chairs: Derrick Lastinger (GA) and Becky Langer-Curry (Bayer)

Members: Currently 31 industry members and NPMA, CLA and RISE

Meetings:  The workgroup meets 2-3 times per year in conjunction with SFIREG meetings.  If you are interested in participated on the workgroup, please email Derrick Lastinger atderrick.lastinger@agr.georgia.gov and request to be added to the email distribution list.

Forums:  Each year the workgroup identifies 1-2 topics of mutual interest for an Industry Relations Forum that is held during the AAPCO annual conference.  The workgroup identifies speakers and a moderator for the session.

  • Antimicrobials Registration 101 Session: Understanding the Registration Process for Public Health Disinfectants. This recorded session will provide an overview of the registration process for disinfectant products responsive to the COVID pandemic.   Komal K.
