November 1, 2017: The Pesticide Progam Dialogue Committee (PPDC) has a Pollinator Protection Plan Metrics Workgroup. The workgroup is making recommendations to EPA regarding Metrics to be used to measure state plan effectiveness. See the recommendations powerpoint here.
November 1, 2017: The PPDC meeting also included an update on the status of Neonicioinoids.
May 26, 2017: 60-day comment period for clothianidin and thiamethoxam’ s preliminary pollinator assessment is now open, along with the comment period for imidacloprid’s aquatic ecological assessment. Supporting documents, including the assessments, can be found in the in the respective dockets along with the announcements. Comment periods on upcoming biological and economic analysis of the benefits of these chemicals is expected later this year. There is a comment button at each of the links below to comment on the assessments for the specific chemicals.
